How to start?
We'll try to explain in a few paragraphs how to start using Jabbim as easily as possible.
1. Choose your user name
The Jabbim username (Jabber ID) consists of two parts: nickname and domain name where you would like to have your account. It's quite similar to e-mail address, so it may look like john.smith@jabbim.com or jdoe@jabbim.cz. Jabbim offers you the following domains:
- jabbim.com
- jabbim.cz
- jabbim.sk
- jabbim.pl
- njs.netlab.cz
- jabber.cz
2. Choose suitable client
You can choose from a wide range of clients to communicate at Jabbim. Most of them are available for free and you can find them for different operating systems as well as for PDAs and mobile phones. You can find a brief list of clients on this page.
